1. Who may use this site
This CME sign-up site is provided by Hatzalah of the Rockaways & Nassau County for its credentialed members and staff. Access is by invitation only. You may use it only with an account that has been issued to you. Do not attempt to access another member's account or any area you are not authorized to use.
2. Your sign-in link is personal
We sign you in with a one-time link sent to your email or phone — there is no password. That link, your unit number, and your session are personal to you. Do not share them. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you believe someone else has used your account, tell a Chief right away.
3. Keep your information accurate
You agree to provide accurate information (your name, unit number, email, and phone) and to keep it current, so that attendance and CME credit are recorded correctly and we can reach you about lectures.
4. Email & text messages (consent)
By signing in or providing your phone number, you agree to receive automated emails and text messages from this service — including one-time sign-in links, sign-up confirmations, calendar invites, and lecture reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or HELP for help; opting out of texts does not affect your ability to sign in by email.
5. Attendance & CME records
Check-in may use your device's location to confirm you are at the lecture venue. You agree to check in only when you are actually present, and not to falsify attendance. Your attendance and CME completion records are maintained for continuing-education and credentialing purposes and may be shared with the organization's medical director, regional EMS council (REMSCO), or state authorities as required.
6. Member information is confidential
Rosters, member contact details, transcripts, and exported reports are confidential and intended for organizational use only. Do not copy, forward, post, or otherwise share them outside the organization. Downloaded and printed materials may be watermarked with your unit number so that sharing can be traced.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempting to break or probe its security, no scraping or bulk-downloading data, no uploading harmful content, and no using it for any unlawful purpose or any purpose other than managing your own CME participation (or, for administrators, managing the program).
8. Not for emergencies
This site is for scheduling continuing-education lectures only. It is not a dispatch or emergency tool. For an emergency, call 718-387-1750 / 718-230-1000 or 911. The service is provided “as is,” and we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the program evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.
